The Wrangler is offered in three main trim levels and a host of special editions for the 2020 model year. The base Sport model comes outfitted with features like skid plates, a height-adjustable driver seat, removable doors, convertible roof, fold-down windshield, cruise control, fog lights, an 8-speaker sound system, 5-inch touchscreen, USB port, and Bluetooth. The Sahara builds on the Sport with heavy-duty brakes, a hardtop, all-terrain tires, a 7-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, satellite radio, and a larger driver information display. The Rubicon is the most capable of the Wrangler trims with features like exclusive tires, front and rear electronic locking differentials, 17-inch wheels, rock rails, and an electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar.
Can you tell me about the engine options?
There are a few engine options offered for the 2020 Wrangler. The standard powertrain is comprised of a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and a 6-speed manual transmission, creating 285 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Drivers can opt for an optional 8-speed automatic transmission. The next engine option, a 2.0-liter turbo inline-4 that pumps out 268 horsepower and 295. The final engine, a 3.0-liter V6 diesel, generates 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. Both of these engines are mated to the 8-speed automatic transmission. When it comes to towing, the Wrangler can handle up to 3,500 pounds. Plenty of power to haul your favorite outdoor toys! There are also 4WD systems to choose from: the Command-Trac, Selec-Trac, and Rubicon-exclusive Rock-Trac.
