Kicking off the RAM 1500 trims is the Tradesman trim, which, like most trims, comes with a large selection of engine options. Coming standard is a strong 3.6-liter V6 that comes with a stout 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The engine comes standard with an eTorque system, which helps improve fuel economy. Optional is a 5.7-liter V8 that pumps out an impressive 5.7-liter V8 that rips out 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. On the V8, the eTorque is optional. There is a diesel option for the RAM, and it’s a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 that makes 260 horses and an amazing 480 lb-ft of torque. Each engine pairs nicely with a smooth sailing eight-speed automatic transmission. Features for the Tradesman include 18-inch steel wheels, a 5-inch touchscreen, air conditioning, trailer sway damping, and a six-speaker stereo.

Next up is the Big Horn, which ups things a little bit with 18-inch aluminum wheels, foglights, and a 60/40-split-folding rear seat. There are quite a few options available, including an 8.4-inch or 12-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.

If you are looking for a ton of off-road features, the Rebel has you covered with things such as more aggressive styling, LED exterior lighting, large all-terrain tires, upgraded shocks, suspension tuning, hill descent control, four underbody skid plates, and an electronic locking rear axle.

Once you move up to the Laramie and the Longhorn, you will be greeted with many luxury items. The Laramie comes with a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen, power mirrors, leather upholstery, and heated and ventilated front seats. The Longhorn provides you with more terrific luxury items such as side steps, reclining heated rear seats with under storage, and a spray-in bedliner with in-bed lighting.

The Limited combines the tech features from previous trims with the luxury items from the Longhorn and the Laramie as the trim brings you a standard 12-inch touchscreen, four-corner air suspension, wireless charging pad, and premium leather bucket seats. You also get a ton of power via the 5.7-liter V8, which comes standard on the Limited.

The last trim level in the RAM 1500’s lineup is the all-new TRX, which comes with a massive supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that makes a whopping 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission. As for features, the TRX comes with a head-up display, reverse steering control, and RamBox cargo storage.
